San Francisco's Board of Supervisors on Tuesday voted not to overturn their approval of the 8 Washington St. development.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that their vote on the high-priced waterfront condominium project was the same as the one taken on June 12, before opponents collected more than 31,000 signatures to put the question to voters.
The new vote paves the way for a ballot measure on the next citywide election.
The 8 Washington project would include 134 luxury condos along the Embarcadero.
The board had approved a special 136-foot height limit for the project, above the current 84-foot limit at the waterfront.
